There seem to be as many seed mixtures for the humble Budgerigar as there are
colour mutations in this popular bird. Which you want to feed is a personal
choice as Budgies seem to thrive most available mixtures, but a little
conditioning seed one or twice a week is good for them.
Budgies and most Australian Parakeets should also be offered
an eggfood regularly as a source of Lysine which they
would normally get from the eucalyptus tree in the wild.
