Natural Mexican Honey & Wildflower Honey
This set hive honey from Mexico is free from all additives or
preservatives. Great care is taken to safe guard the naturally occurring
characteristics that are important in a quality honey. Wildflower Honey also
contains no artificial additives, preservatives, colourings or sweeteners.
For the majority of birds a little honey is a welcome addition to the diet. It
should however be used sparingly and never left for more than a day before it is
removed when not eaten. Many parrots relish a little honey spread on to toast.
Nectar drinkers and birds with preferences for pollen will appreciate a little
mixed with warm water, but again remove after 24 hours if not consumed as honey
ferments quickly and can produce a harmful mould if left in warm conditions for
too long.
