White Eyes, Leafbirds, Sugarbirds, Flower-pierces, Tanagers, Swiftparrots, Sunbirds, Hummingbirds, Lories, Lorikeets and Fig Parrots to name but a few all feed form one form of nectar or another in the wild. To be able to keep these birds in captivity a highly specialised diet must be provided. Fortunately a few suppliers now produce ready to use nectars for the different species of birds. |
