Pollen

Bee Pollen
Pollen is used as a titbit for birds. Many species of psittaciformes appreciate pollen, especially Lories, Hanging parakeets and Fig Parrots. Some species of exotic finches and frugivorous birds are also interested in powdered pollen.
Pollen should be offered only in limited quantities, no more than a few percent of the total diet because digestibility and nutritional value are rather low. Commercial slogans highly exaggerate the benefits of pollen for financial profit.
Pollen? Yes, but only in small quantities, as a treat.
